Every employee undergoes initial fire safety training upon starting work. Periodic training is repeated at an interval set by the employer based on a risk assessment – usually every 1 to 2 years. Managers must be trained at least once every 3 years. Fire watches and fire prevention officers have professional preparation according to their own thematic plan.
