Everything is in accordance with the current ČSN EN 62305 standard, with the output being a complete inspection report that will stand up to scrutiny from both insurance companies and state supervisory authorities.

Without proof of a completed lightning protection system inspection according to ČSN EN 62305, the insurance company may reduce or completely deny the claim. We will provide you with a complete inspection report that meets all requirements and will pass any audit.

Lightning protection system and LPS inspections are performed by Jiří Cach, a certified electrical inspector with authorization under Government Decree No. 194/2022 Coll. in the E3A scope, which includes lightning protection systems. The certificate is valid for 3 years and its renewal is subject to strict conditions of professional practice and re-examination.
For a single building, you often need to handle electrical installation inspection, lightning protection system inspection, and at the same time, OHS and fire safety documentation. As a single supplier, we can provide everything – from LPS inspection, through switchboard and appliance inspection, to the preparation of fire safety documentation. This service is intended for businesses, organizations, and property managers – production halls, warehouses, administrative buildings, retail stores, apartment buildings and homeowner associations, municipalities, schools, and other public amenity facilities. For households (family houses), we offer inspections only to a limited extent – please contact us for clarification.
It depends on the lightning protection level (LPL) assigned to your building. For LPL I and II, a complete inspection is mandatory every 2 years; for LPL III and IV, every 4 years. A visual inspection must be performed every year regardless of the protection level.
The inspection includes a visual check of the air-termination system, down conductors, and earthing; measurement of transition resistances of joints and earth resistance of earthing; checking the condition and functionality of surge protective devices (SPDs); and verifying the entire system's compliance with the ČSN EN 62305 standard. The output is an inspection report with a conclusion on the installation's fitness for purpose.
A visual inspection is an annual check of accessible parts of the LPS without measurements – it verifies whether there has been any mechanical damage, corrosion, or loosening of connections. A complete inspection additionally includes detailed measurement of electrical parameters (transition resistances, earth resistance) and a thorough check of all system parts, including surge protective devices.
Most insurance companies require a valid LPS inspection report as a condition for full claim settlement in the event of lightning damage. Without proof of a completed inspection, the insurer may reduce or completely deny the claim. The inspection report we issue meets all requirements demanded by insurance companies.
